Job description
With the evolving landscape of digital threats and an increasing volume of sophisticated attacks by malicious actors, we have a security policy mandating all new hires complete an in-person onboarding process - no exceptions. Security is our foundation and we prioritize physical identity verification and secure IT setup. While our security and IT logistics require physical presence to protect our infrastructure from sophisticated global threats, this move is equally about our Village culture. We believe that a laptop can be shipped, but our culture cannot.
We are looking to add a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Stablecoins - Infrastructure to our team.
You will own how Anchorage Digital positions and takes to market its stablecoin infrastructure: the platform institutions use to mint, redeem, bridge, custody, settle, and manage USD stablecoins through a federally chartered bank, plus the API and developer surface behind it and the payments service that lets banks move dollars onchain without a correspondent bank.
Your buyers are the people who run money movement and treasury: payments and treasury leads at banks and fintechs, trading desks and exchanges that settle in stablecoins, and the engineers and product managers who integrate against our API. They care about speed, cost, counterparty risk, and regulatory standing, and they are comparing us to crypto-native infrastructure providers, bank consortia, and doing nothing.
This is a generalist product marketing role on a small team. Product marketing is the core of the job, and you will also carry brand, events, and communications work for your product lines: the launch announcement, the developer content, the conference presence, the client reference program. You should be as comfortable writing a technical one-pager as briefing a designer or prepping an executive for a panel.
Technical Skills:
- Write the positioning, messaging, and ICP definition for stablecoin infrastructure, covering minting and redemption, settlement, treasury, bank payments, and the API, and keep them current as the products and the market move.
- Build and maintain the sales toolkit: pitch decks, one-pagers, solution pages, competitive battlecards, FAQs, integration overviews, and client case studies, and train Sales on how to use them.
- Run product launches end to end: new chains and stablecoins supported, new API capabilities, pricing changes, and new bank services, with the announcement, developer content, website and in-app updates, and enablement ready on day one.
- Produce content for an institutional and technical audience, from web copy and blog posts to developer guides, white papers, webinars, and conference talks, in the Anchorage Digital voice.
Complexity Impact of Work:
- Turn infrastructure concepts (settlement finality, reserve handling, bridging, treasury operations) into a clear business case for a treasurer, a payments lead, and an engineer, and decide which proof points each one needs.
- Build competitive positioning against crypto-native infrastructure providers and bank consortia, and make the case for running money movement through a federally chartered bank in plain terms a buyer can repeat internally.
- Own the brand, events, and communications calendar for your product lines, including developer and payments conference presence, speaking submissions, and executive prep.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Develop fluency in how our platform and API work, which stablecoins and chains we support, and the regulatory standing that shapes what we can say.
- Partner with Product and Engineering on roadmap priorities using client interviews, integration feedback, win and loss analysis, and market research.
- Work with Legal and Compliance so every external claim survives review the first time.
Communication Influence:
- Gather client, prospect, developer, and competitor insight and share it across Marketing, Product, Sales, and the Stablecoin Solutions team.
- Act as the marketing point of contact for the stablecoin infrastructure business, and bring the broader Marketing team (design, demand generation, social, communications) into your launches.
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
- Have 5 or more years in B2B product marketing, with at least part of that marketing an API, platform, or infrastructure product in fintech, payments, financial services, or digital assets.
- Have owned positioning and go-to-market for a technical product end to end, from ICP and messaging through launch and sales enablement, and can show the results.
- Write clearly for both a treasurer and an engineer, in short form and long form, and can explain settlement, minting and redemption, or a bridge between chains without a glossary.
- Have worked on brand, events, or communications programs, not only product marketing, and are happy to carry those for your product lines on a small team.
- Have sold alongside a sales team: built the deck, trained the reps, sat in on the calls, and changed the pitch based on what you heard.
- Are comfortable with regulatory and compliance review, and treat it as part of getting the story right rather than an obstacle.
- Search constantly for client, prospect, developer, and competitor insight and use it to change what we build and say.
Although not a requirement, bonus points if:
- Have marketed payments infrastructure, a developer platform, or a settlement or treasury product.
- Have worked with developer relations or produced developer-facing content such as integration guides and API overviews.
- Have marketed to banks, and understand how a bank evaluates a new vendor for money movement.
- Follow stablecoin settlement, bank adoption of onchain payments, and the GENIUS Act closely and have opinions about where the market goes next.
- Were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system.
