The role

We are hiring a Systems Administrator to build and run the technology layer that lets Consensys operate independently of CSI/Metamask, while meeting the security standards our institutional clients expect.

In this hands-on role, you will manage our identity and access, device fleet, SaaS platforms, and internal IT tooling. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, security, and people teams in a fully remote, asynchronous environment to ensure our operational systems are reliable and secure.

What you will do

You will build and run our internal technology foundations: managing identity and access (IdP), the company device fleet, SaaS platform licenses, and internal IT tooling. You will establish reliable IT processes and operational support for our remote, asynchronous team. Additionally, you will partner with Security and Engineering to implement the controls and documentation needed to meet SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards for our institutional clients.

What we are looking for

Core requirements

• IT Operations Experience: Proven experience owning and maintaining IT infrastructure or operations at a distributed technology company.

• Identity & Access Management: Deep, hands-on experience with IdP (specifically JumpCloud) covering SSO, SAML, SCIM, and conditional access with RBAC.

• Google Workspace Administration: Hands-on management of Google Workspace environments, covering user lifecycles, organizational units, security and sharing policies, and IdP directory integrations.

• SaaS & Tooling Administration: Strong experience managing and automating access to developer tools (e.g., GitHub, Slack, Notion) and business SaaS platforms.

• Cloud & Edge Zero Trust Administration: Experience managing cloud environments (AWS/Azure) alongside Cloudflare One (ZTNA) - leveraging Cloudflare Access for application-level least-privilege security and Cloudflare Gateway for secure web gateway (SWG) traffic filtering.

• Endpoint Security & Device Posture Management: Administration of endpoint tools and device posture enforcement (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon, Cloudflare WARP client) to validate device health and compliance before granting access to corporate resources.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to lead and collaborate asynchronously across global, remote teams.

• Scripting for Automation: Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) to automate IT tasks like user onboarding, offboarding, and asset provisioning.

Strongly desirable

• Compliance Governance: Experience taking an organization through SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audits, including evidence collection and documentation.

• Endpoint Management: Managing fleets across macOS, Windows, and Linux, including EDR tooling (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon).

• Cloudflare: Experience with Cloudflare Access, Tunnel, and WARP.
