Non-technical web3 jobs

Non-technical web3 jobs are most of the market: on Jobs Web3, 1,647 of 2,476 open listings (67%) are not engineering, security or data science roles, in October 2026. Product, operations, compliance, marketing, sales and finance roles are posted by 181 companies, from the largest exchanges to small protocol teams.

Do web3 jobs require coding?

Two in three do not. The share counts job titles: a listing is technical when its title names an engineering, development, security, data science, quantitative or architecture role, and non-technical otherwise. Some non-technical roles still expect you to read on-chain data or work with engineers every day.

Each role has its own list on the board, for example product manager jobs, crypto operations jobs, crypto compliance jobs, web3 marketing jobs and sales jobs in crypto. The most popular non-tech jobs page ranks them.

Skills of the profession, applied to digital assets. Where listings name specific skills, the most common are product marketing (24), payments (21), accounting (19), internal audit (15), customer success (15), talent acquisition (11), customer service (10), institutional sales (9), social media marketing (9) and derivatives (9).

99 non-technical listings ask for Chinese, 53 for German, 29 for Spanish, 23 for Portuguese and 21 for Japanese. The language filter on the board narrows the list to roles where your language counts and removes the ones that would reject you.

Are non-technical web3 jobs remote?

Less often than engineering roles. 525 of the 1,647 non-technical listings (32%) are remote, against 37% across the whole board. For remote roles only, see remote non-tech jobs.

How much do non-technical web3 jobs pay?

Where a range is published, the median midpoint is $179,000 a year, from 447 annual US dollar ranges at 67 companies (October 2026). Most listings still publish no pay, and three companies post 119 of the 447 ranges (Coinbase 58, Ripple 31, Polymarket 30); 173 of the ranges are for roles in New York. Read this as the pay of those listings, not of the market. The non-tech salaries page shows figures by role, each with its sample size.

Learn the vocabulary of your area. Compliance roles meet KYC, KYB and travel rules; finance roles meet custody and treasury; support roles meet wallet recovery and scams. Our Learn Web3 page lists resources by level.

Start where entry roles exist. 117 non-technical listings are junior roles or internships. See entry-level crypto jobs and the guide on web3 jobs with no experience.

Target the largest employers. OKX (140 non-technical listings), Coinbase (117), Bybit (111), Binance (81), Ripple (67) and Kraken (58) post the most.

"Obviously, my specialization, and the tools and knowledge specific to my role, were essential. I notice that for non-tech roles, companies put relatively little weight on in-depth knowledge of web3, and much more on the skills specific to the role in question."
